Cash for Critters was started so we could raise money for wildlife rehabilitation, and we hope this web site will give you all the information on Cash For Critters you need.   The idea Cash For Critters was started in 1999 by Jeff and Dee Hynes. For a while Dee was doing Wildlife Rehabilitation and had to quit doing the rehabilitation because they could not afford it anymore. They did not like the fact that all these poor defenseless animals were going to have to be piled onto someone else who really could not afford it either. So they finished rehabilitating all the little critters they had. When the season ended they decided that they could not go through that again. That’s when they came up with the idea to raise money for all of the other Rehabilitators. That winter is when Cash For Critters was hatched. We received our nonprofit status in 2000.

At Cash for Critters, the ANIMALS always come first.

We will be having a few Yard Sales to raise money. Please check out events for dates and times.

     We are a group of volunteers who raise money for Wildlife Rehabilitation .Wildlife Rehabilitation is the helping of sick , injured or orphaned wildlife .Currently , Wildlife Rehabilitators do not receive money for what they do .They are all volunteers and pay for almost everything out of their own pocket . There is no government funding for these individuals unless they are with a large organization . Wildlife Rehabilitators even have to register with the Division Of Wildlife every year to be Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators . Right now this is all           funded through their own money and what little donations each individual receives . Our main goals are to raise money for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Rescue and to help reduce the impact of humans on Wildlife through public awareness .This will be funded through Public Donations .

 
We ourselves at CASH FOR CRITTERS do not do Wildlife Rehabilitation.
